Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Special Chemistry

Labcorp seeks a Clinical Laboratory Technologist for the Special Chemistry department in Burlington, NC, working nights (11pm-7:30am). The role involves performing laboratory testing procedures, operating instrumentation, and ensuring specimen quality and accurate results.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate specimen acceptability according to established laboratory standards
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures following departmental protocols
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
• Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents and quality control materials
• Document preventative maintenance and quality control procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
• Minimum 1 year clinical laboratory testing experience or MLS degree
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred
• Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems
• Ability to pass color blindness screening test
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
