The Commercial Construction Superintendent will oversee large teams of 16 or more workers on mixed-use developments and adult living projects. This role focuses on ensuring project schedules are met, maintaining quality standards, managing safety protocols on site, and effectively coordinating subcontractors and client communications. The superintendent will utilize tools such as Microsoft Project and Procore to track progress and documentation, all within a single-site work environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules
• Enforce quality control standards throughout the construction process
• Manage and promote safety compliance on site
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to meet project requirements
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and address concerns
• Report progress accurately using project management software
• Identify and resolve problems to keep the project on track
• Maintain thorough documentation for all project phases

Required Qualifications

• OSHA Safety Certification
• Proficient in reading blueprints
• Experience coordinating subcontractors
• Strong time management skills
• Effective communication abilities
• Problem-solving expertise
• Must have dependable daily transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction
