Transactional Attorney

Role Description The Transactional Attorney will handle a broad range of real estate and business transactions, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, leases, purchase and sale agreements, and corporate governance documents. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising clients on deal structure, risk allocation, and compliance issues; conducting legal research and due diligence; and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to move transactions to closing. The role also involves preparing opinion letters and memoranda, maintaining organized matter files, and contributing to the development of standard forms and firm best practices. This is a full-time remote role, requiring regular collaboration via digital tools and the ability to manage deadlines across multiple matters. Qualifications Strong transactional skills, including contract drafting, review, and negotiation in real estate and business matters. Ability to perform thorough legal research, due diligence, and document analysis to identify risks and recommend practical solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal concepts clearly to clients and colleagues. Solid organizational and time-management skills, including managing multiple matters, meeting deadlines, and working effectively in a remote environment. Collaborative mindset and client-service orientation, with experience building trusted relationships and exercising sound professional judgment. Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar; California bar admission strongly preferred. Prior experience as a transactional attorney in real estate, business, or related practice areas; experience with homeowner associations or construction matters is a plus.
