Title: Shipping/Receiving Specialist

Location: Torrance, CA 90504

Duration: 06 Months with possible extension

Pay Rate: $22.00/hr on W2 (All Inclusive)

Shift Timings: First Shift

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK AT LEAST 2 SAT A MONTH

Description:

Top 3 skills preferred are packing experience, computer skills, including email and Excel proficiency and forklift experience.

Confirms and records the receipt of shipments, prepares items for shipping, and loads and unloads trucks.
Reports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping purposes.
Completes shipping and receiving reports. Also responsible for managing the inter-departmental transport of materials.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 0-2 years experience.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Special Considerations: Lifting will exceed 30 Lbs. and/or repetitions of this or lesser weights will be significant.
Exposure to substantial machine, chemical, biological or other physical risks are anticipated.
