Project Control Manager

We are seeking a Project Cost Controls Manager to support the successful delivery of high-profile construction programs across Data Centers, Mission Critical Facilities, Commercial Developments, and Advanced Manufacturing projects. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing project cost controls, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with project teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders, you will help ensure projects remain on budget, risks are proactively managed, and financial objectives are achieved from pre-construction through project closeout. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain project budgets, cost plans, and cost control systems throughout all project phases Monitor project costs, commitments, expenditures, and forecasts to ensure budget compliance Prepare and present cost reports, cash flow projections, and financial performance updates Support procurement activities, including vendor prequalification, bid evaluations, and contract recommendations Conduct cost analysis, value engineering reviews, and commercial risk assessments Review and evaluate change orders, payment applications, and cost impacts Support contract administration, negotiations, claims management, and dispute resolution efforts Manage invoice reviews, final account reconciliations, and project closeout activities Identify cost trends, potential overruns, and opportunities for cost optimization Utilize cost management, estimating, scheduling, and reporting software to support project controls processes Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams to drive successful project outcomes Support lessons learned initiatives and continuous improvement of project controls practices Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Finance, or a related discipline 5+ years of experience in project controls, cost controls, construction cost management, estimating, quantity surveying, or commercial management Experience supporting medium to large-scale construction projects Strong understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, procurement, and contract administration Knowledge of value engineering, change management, and commercial risk management principles Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills Proficiency with estimating, project controls, and cost management software platforms Preferred Experience Data Center, Mission Critical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Energy, or Commercial Construction projects Experience managing project budgets and cost performance from preconstruction through project closeout Familiarity with earned value management (EVM), project controls methodologies, and cost forecasting processes Experience working in client-facing environments and supporting large capital projects #J-18808-Ljbffr Vader-Rey Companies
