Senior Cost Accountant

Maintain and analyze standard costs for raw materials, labor, and manufacturing overhead. Perform month-end cost accounting close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting. Analyze manufacturing variances, including labor, material, purchase price, usage, and overhead, and present findings to leadership. Prepare inventory valuations and reconcile inventory balances to the general ledger. Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Production teams to improve cost controls and manufacturing efficiency. Assist with annual standard cost updates and physical inventory counts. Monitor inventory transactions and ensure accurate costing within Oracle ERP. Develop cost models and profitability analyses for new and existing products. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives. Prepare management reports and dashboards highlighting key cost drivers and business trends. Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies. Support internal and external audits related to inventory and manufacturing accounting. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment. Hands-on Oracle ERP experience is required (Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Cloud ERP, or Oracle Fusion). Strong knowledge of: Standard Costing Inventory Accounting Manufacturing Accounting Variance Analysis Month-End Close Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across operations, production, and supply chain. #J-18808-Ljbffr
