Hospitality & Conference Services Coordinator

Our client, a prestigious law firm in Manhattan is seeking a Hospitality & Conference Services Coordinator to join their team. This temporary-to-possible-hire opportunity is ideal for someone looking to transition from hospitality, catering, conference services, office services, or luxury restaurant environments into a stable corporate setting with long-term growth potential. This is a highly visible, hands-on position focused on conference room operations, food service, meeting support, and office events. Candidates should enjoy being active throughout the day, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring every meeting space is maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the setup, maintenance, and breakdown of conference rooms and meeting spaces.
• Deliver food and beverage service for meetings and events in a polished and professional manner.
• Stock conference rooms and ensure all supplies are available for scheduled meetings.
• Clear tables, refresh beverages, collect dishes, and respond to guest requests throughout meetings.
• Clean and reset conference rooms following meetings, ensuring spaces are presentation-ready at all times.
• Assist with in-office events and provide support for occasional after-hours functions.
• Maintain kitchens, service areas, and assigned conference rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience in hospitality, conference services, catering, office services, luxury hotels, restaurants, or a similar customer-facing environment.
• Experience working with food service, vendors, catering orders, and meeting room operations.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional demeanor and ability to interact confidently with executives, clients, and guests.
• Law firm or professional services experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to spend the majority of the day walking and standing, and ability to lift up to 30 pounds and support occasional early morning, evening, and after-hours events as business needs require.
