As a Security Officer in Elm Grove, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and respond to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $18.73 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying employee, visitor, contractor, and delivery driver credentials in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and delivery records; issue and collect access credentials as authorized; and communicate access concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including unauthorized access attempts, delivery disputes, and operational disruptions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Preferred ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
