PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR ???? PAY: $20-$24/HR ???? SHIFT: | MONDAY-FRIDAY | 1st , 2nd , 3rd SHIFT ???? LOCATION: CRYSTAL LAKE, IL

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and learn advanced metal fabrication equipment used to form sheet metal components. The ideal candidate will have machine operating experience, the ability to read a tape measure accurately, and an interest in developing advanced fabrication skills.

Responsibilities

• Load metal parts into pre-programmed press brake machines.
• Inspect parts using tape measures to ensure specifications are met.
• Remove formed parts from machines and transport them to assigned areas.
• Learn and operate P2, P4, and S4 machines.
• Edit machine programs to optimize operations.
• Participate in high-level machine operations.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations.
• Experience in machine operating, particularly with press brakes.
• Familiarity with fabrication machine operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Training will be provided on calipers and other measuring equipment.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication and CNC operations.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and laser operations.

Work Environment

The work environment is clean and well-lit. The culture values respect and open communication, with a supervisor maintaining an open-door policy for all employees, including contractors. There is ample opportunity for growth into various machine operating positions, with training provided for all necessary skills. The work schedule is on the third shift from 10 pm to 6 am, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Crystal Lake, IL.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Crystal Lake,IL.
