Job Summary

Family Practice is seeking bilingual Spanish/English speaking energetic and caring Medical Assistant with excellent clerical, communication, and customer service skills. This is an excellent opportunity for growth! This individual must have previous clinic experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

-Injections (ID, IM, Sub Q)

-Urinalysis

-Venipuncture

-Glucose Testing

-Aseptic Techniques Autoclaving

-Hemoglobin Testing

-Pediatrics Immunizations

-Specimen Collections

-Ear irrigations

-Appointment Scheduling

-Audiogram

-Electronic Medical Records

-Electrocardiogram

Qualifications and Skills

- Bilingual; Fluent in English / Spanish verbal and writing skills

- Punctual

- Highly organized, dependable and honest,

- A self-starter able to anticipate needs,

- Personable and able to laugh;

- Computer literate and Microsoft Suite capable;

-Proficient in written and verbal communications and people skills

-Ability to work independently and as a team member.

- Able to demonstrate mature judgment, initiative and critical thinking.

- Ability to relate to diverse communities.

- Accuracy and attention to detail essential.

- Ability to read and implement written instructions

- Ability to physically assist a patient in distress.

- Professional appearance and attitude.

- Availability to work flexible hours, as required.

- Basic computer skills; windows, e-mail and keyboard skills.
