Radiology Technologist - PRN

Role: Performs radiographic exams across all modalities within licensed scope, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety. Responsibilities Conducts radiologic procedures following standards, positioning equipment, and instructing patients. Ensures optimal image quality and adheres to radiation safety protocols, including proper shielding and equipment use. Operates radiographic equipment safely and accurately, including contrast media preparation and administration. Communicates effectively with patients to explain procedures, reduce anxiety, and recognize adverse reactions. Maintains compliance with HIPAA regulations, safeguarding patient information, and following safety practices. Qualifications & Skills Current license to practice as a radiographer in the state. Knowledge of radiographic techniques, safety procedures, and patient care across age groups. Effective communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
