You'll lead by example, support your team, and ensure every aspect of the business operates efficiently and compliantly.Leadership & Team DevelopmentRecruit, interview, hire, onboard, and develop dispensary staffCoach, mentor, and motivate employees through regular feedback and performance managementConduct performance reviews, corrective action, and development planningCreate employee schedules that balance customer service, labor efficiency, and operational needsFoster a positive, professional, and collaborative workplace cultureOperations & ComplianceOversee all daily retail operations, including sales, inventory, customer service, and merchandisingMaintain strict compliance with company policies, state cannabis regulations, and licensing requirementsEnsure the facility remains audit-ready through regular operational, inventory, and compliance reviewsLead store meetings and communicate company initiatives, operational updates, and performance expectationsSupport marketing initiatives, promotions, and product launchesFinancial & Business PerformanceDrive sales growth while managing payroll, labor, and operating expensesAnalyze KPIs, sales trends, labor metrics, and financial reports to improve performanceReview cash handling procedures, reconciliations, deposits, and financial reportingPartner with regional leadership to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and profitabilityMaintain accurate inventory controls and loss prevention practicesCustomer ExperienceDeliver an exceptional customer experience through outstanding service standardsResolve customer concerns professionally and efficientlyEnsure the dispensary remains clean, organized, fully stocked, and visually appealingLead from the sales floor and provide support in any operational role when business needs requireWhat We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate is an experienced retail leader who enjoys developing people, improving operations, and driving measurable results.QualificationsMinimum 3 years of retail management experience, with at least 2 years in cannabis retail leadership preferredDemonstrated success leading high-performing teamsStrong knowledge of cannabis compliance, inventory control, and retail operationsExperience managing labor, payroll, budgets, and financial performanceStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and leadership abilitiesComfortable making decisions in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detailPreferred SkillsExperience with METRC, Dutchie, or other cannabis retail platformsExperience preparing for or leading regulatory inspectionsProven ability to improve sales performance and operational metricsMulti-unit or high-volume retail experience is a plusPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to perform all essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodationMinimum RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredBachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field preferredMust satisfy all applicable state cannabis employment requirements, including background screening and required licensing or agent registrationWhy Join Us?Leadership isn't just about managing a store.
