Job DescriptionJob DescriptionIndustrial Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Bensenville, ILPay: $28–$38/hr depending on experience and trainingShifts Available: 1st Why This Role Stands OutFamily-owned food manufacturing company that genuinely values its employeesSupportive leadership and hands-on manager who prioritizes training and developmentStrong culture built on teamwork, pride in craftsmanship, and safetyOngoing investment in equipment, tools, and maintenance technologyComprehensive benefits, generous PTO, and 401(k) with matchTuition reimbursement and career advancement opportunitiesWhat You’ll Be DoingPerform mechanical and electrical maintenance on high-speed food processing and packaging equipment (mixers, conveyors, blenders, metal detectors, laser daters, palletizers, etc.)Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide variety of issues including electrical controls, PLCs, mechanical failures, hydraulics, and pneumaticsExecute both scheduled and emergency repairs to minimize downtime and keep production on trackConduct regular preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and prevent breakdownsUse CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, parts usage, and maintenance logsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure correct repair proceduresCalibrate, align, and test sensors, VFDs, motors, and servo systemsMaintain plant utilities and infrastructure including HVAC, boilers, compressed air systems, and plumbingCollaborate with the operations team to prioritize repairs and ensure minimal disruption to productionAssist with equipment installation, upgrades, and facility projectsFollow all safety protocols and help foster a zero-incident workplace cultureWhat You Bring4+ years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance role Strong skills in mechanical troubleshooting, mechanical repair, and preventative maintenance; electrical troubleshooting preferredFamiliarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, gearboxes, and conveying systemsStrong communication, organization, and teamwork skillsA self-starter who takes pride in solving problems and keeping the plant running smoothly #ZR\nCompany DescriptionThe team at JSK Recruiting, Inc. prides itself on providing boutique-level services combined with the resources of a larger recruiting firm.
