Maintenance Technician II

Are you a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, solving mechanical and electrical problems, and keeping manufacturing operations running smoothly? We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II to join our client’s team where you’ll work across a variety of equipment and systems while contributing to preventative maintenance, repairs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and general maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform machine, plant, and general operations maintenance.
• Complete basic fabrication and welding as needed.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, saws, drills, grinders, cutting equipment, measuring devices, and other maintenance tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, instructions, and equipment documentation.
• Assist with troubleshooting PLCs and industrial automation systems.
• Maintain appropriate maintenance records, instructions, and prints.
• Follow preventative maintenance schedules, operating procedures, work instructions, and 6S housekeeping practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, maintenance efficiency, productivity, and manufacturing costs.
• Work collaboratively with team members to troubleshoot problems and implement solutions.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and regulations, including LOTO, HazCom, electrical/mechanical safety requirements, and PPE guidelines.

Skills & Experience:

• Education: HSD or equivalent, required
• Experience: 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, required
• Knowledge: Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems, required
• Skills: Ability to read & interpret blueprints, schematics, & technical manuals, required

Pay: $28.00 – $36.00/hour + 15% shift differential

Type: Full-time, 2nd shift, On-site. *Training is completed on 1st shift.* Schedule: Monday– Thursday 4:00 p.m.–2:00 a.m. *Training is 5:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.*
