Compensation & Benefits Library Media Specialist salaries start at $43,000. A comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, vision, and flexible spending account options. Minimum Qualifications Hold a bachelor’s degree. Be eligible to work in the United States. Additional Requirements Hold active teaching certification in Library in Tennessee or another U.S. state. Hold an undergraduate GPA of 2.75+ and score 146+ on the Library Media Specialist (code 5311) Praxis exam. Hold an undergraduate GPA of 2.75+ and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Library Media Science. Candidates without full teaching certification must enroll in one of SCS’s partner educator preparation programs if offered a position.
