This role is essential to ensuring our facility remains welcoming, sanitary, and compliant with healthcare standards.Essential DutiesClean and maintain public and common areas, including lobbies, restrooms, drinking fountains, and floorsEnsure resident rooms and bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized regularlyWipe down handrails to keep them free of dust and debrisRemove dirt, dust, and food from walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, towel bars, and dispensersEmpty trash cans and replace liners as neededSweep and mop floors throughout the facilityFollow safety protocols, including the use of caution signage and proper chemical storageOperate cleaning equipment and use supplies according to manufacturer instructionsKeep housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas clean, organized, and sanitaryReport resident safety concerns immediately to the Director of Housekeeping, Administrator, or Director of NursingNotify the Director of Housekeeping when supplies need replenishmentDemonstrate excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitudeManage time effectively and complete tasks efficientlyWork independently and as part of a team to meet facility cleanliness standardsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious housekeeping experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a plusAbility to follow instructions and safety guidelinesStrong attention to detail and cleanlinessGood communication and interpersonal skillsDependable, organized, and team-orientedApply TodayJoin West Village Post Acute and become part of a team that's redefining post-acute care in Greenville.
