Travel Cardiovascular Intensive Care RN - Winston-Salem, North Carolina

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time, travel assignment
• Shifts align with high-acuity ICU needs; details shared in assignment

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with at least 1 year recent CVICU experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required; CCRN preferred
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Strong proficiency in post-cardiac assessment, circulatory support (IABP, IMPELLA, LVAD, ECMO), vasoactive/antiarrhythmic titration, interpretation of cardiac waveforms, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Open to first-time travelers with qualifying CVICU background

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert care for post-surgical cardiac and medical critical care patients (e.g., CABG, valve repair, thoracic aneurysms)
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:2, performing comprehensive assessments and interventions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including 24/7 intensivists and respiratory therapists
• Utilize state-of-the-art equipment such as Epic EMR, Alaris IV pumps, and Omnicell medication dispensing
• Float to other critical care units as needed
