Manager (flex) of Credit & Collections

We are partnering with one of our leading manufacturing clients for a Credit and Collections Manager. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers and suppliers receive the appropriate credit levels promptly. You'll effectively manage accounts with substantive credit risks, confirm timely collection of Accounts Receivable, and provide exceptional customer service. This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $115,000 to $150,000 per year.

• Establish credit rating criteria, credit ceilings, and associated policies.
  
  
• Identify cost-effective third-party credit tools and negotiate favorable terms.
  
  
• Monitor business, industry, and economic trends for credit decisions.
  
  
• Assess credit risks promptly.
  
  
• Collaborate with branch management for efficient credit approval processes.
  
  
• Prepare periodic reports on accounts receivable.
  
  
• Improve cash flow and reduce outstanding receivables.
  
  
• Proactively update credit files and limits for significant accounts.
  
  

• Ability to think strategically, analyze complex business and financial data, and develop innovative solutions.

• Knowledge of principles and practices related to sound personnel management and supervision.
  
  
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
