We're seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to support bridge maintenance, repair, and restoration projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional who enjoys hands-on project coordination, leadership development, and working in a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate is organized, safety-focused, and eager to develop their project management skills while helping deliver high-quality infrastructure projects.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate labor, materials, equipment, rentals, and subcontractors to meet project schedules and budget requirements.Monitor and report daily production rates to ensure project goals are achieved.Review and understand contract requirements.Develop, maintain, and update project schedules.Prepare and manage project documentation, including submittals, material orders, RFIs, traffic closures, daily logs, claims, change orders, and correspondence.Track project costs and report financial performance.Maintain accurate project files, contract documents, and records from project startup through closeout.Promote job-site safety, quality workmanship, and efficient project execution.Collaborate with field personnel, subcontractors, and project leadership to keep projects moving forward.QualificationsAssociate degree or relevant construction management experience.At least 2 years of related construction experience.Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project documentation.Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.Willingness to travel regionally up to 60% of the year, including assignments lasting up to two weeks.Flexibility to work variable shifts, nights, and weekends as project demands require.Comfortable working in both office and active construction-site environments.Compensation & BenefitsSalary: $60,000–$80,000, depending on experience and education.Medical, dental, and vision insurance.Life insurance and short- and long-term disability coverage.Additional accident, injury, and cancer insurance options.15 days of paid time off, with increases based on tenure.401(k) with employer match.Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA).Professional development assistance.Vehicle and phone options, when applicable.Why Consider This Opportunity?Join a team that values professional growth, teamwork, and high-quality infrastructure work.
