Role Description This part‑time Accountant role is a hybrid position based in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex, with some work‑from‑home flexibility. The Accountant will handle day‑to‑day accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, expense tracking, and bank reconciliations. Responsibilities include preparing periodic financial reports, supporting month‑end and quarter‑end closes, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and maintaining accurate, organized financial records. The role will also support compliance with internal controls, assist in coordinating with external accountants or auditors, and help improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency. Collaboration with operations and leadership teams to provide financial insights and ensure alignment with business objectives is an important aspect of this role. Qualifications Strong accounting fundamentals, including experience with accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar), Microsoft Excel, and basic data analysis tools. Ability to reconcile accounts, prepare journal entries, and support month‑end and quarter‑end closing activities. Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring for small to mid‑sized businesses. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a part‑time, hybrid environment. Effective communication skills for working with internal teams, external partners, and auditors. Prior experience in manufacturing, technology, or building solutions industries is a plus.
