Salary Range : $75,000-$110,000 DOE

Tax Accountant Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual, trust, and business tax returns
• Provide tax planning and advisory support to clients
• Work with clients to understand their financial goals and provide proactive tax strategies
• Manage multiple client engagements throughout the year
• Communicate directly with clients regarding tax questions and planning opportunities
• Assist with financial planning and consulting projects as needed
• Research tax issues and stay current on tax regulations
• Build strong relationships with individuals, business owners, farmers, ranchers, and other closely held clients

Tax Accountant Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Strong experience preparing tax returns required
• Bachelor degree
• Proficiency in Word and Outlook
• Experience in public accounting
• CPA is preferred
