Position Summary

Client is seeking a Reporting & Analytics Developer to support its Global Professional Services organization. This individual will serve as a key partner to operations, project management, engineering leadership, and finance by developing reporting, analytics, dashboards, and business insights that drive strategic decision-making.

This role is ideal for a highly analytical individual who enjoys solving business problems with data, validating data accuracy, and translating complex information into actionable insights. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing reporting solutions while supporting forecasting, utilization, project financials, resource planning, and operational performance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and enhance operational dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions.
• Develop and validate KPI calculations, reporting logic, and data models supporting Professional Services operations.
• Partner with leadership to provide visibility into utilization, capacity planning, project performance, forecasting, and profitability metrics.
• Investigate data discrepancies and perform root cause analysis across multiple systems and reporting layers.
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation and operational improvements.
• Support reporting and analytics related to project delivery, resource management, timesheet processes, and project financials.
• Translate business requirements into scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
• Present findings and recommendations to operational and executive stakeholders in a clear business-focused manner.
• Collaborate with data engineering and business teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and governance.
• Help drive continuous improvement of reporting frameworks, automation, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.

Systems & Tools

• Kantata (formerly Mavenlink) will serve as a primary source of project delivery, resource management, utilization, and financial reporting data. It's a Professional Services Automation Platform
• Work across multiple business applications, databases, and reporting tools to understand how data flows throughout the organization.
• Support development and maintenance of automated reporting processes, data pipelines, and dashboard solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in reporting, analytics, business intelligence, operations analytics, or a related field.
• Strong SQL development skills.
• Strong Python experience for data analysis, automation, and reporting.
• Experience working with relational databases and data structures.
• Experience building dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate data issues independently.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with business, technical, and leadership stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings in business terms.
• Self-starter capable of operating in a fast-paced environment with limited direction.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Professional Services, Consulting, Project Management, Engineering Operations, or Resource Management organizations.
• Exposure to forecasting, utilization reporting, capacity planning, or FP&A processes.
• Experience building automated reporting solutions and data pipelines.
• Familiarity with data governance, data validation, and reporting controls.
• Experience with business intelligence platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar tools.
• Experience working with PSA platforms such as Kantata, Mavenlink, FinancialForce, Certinia, or comparable systems.
