Bilingual CDL Class B Delivery Driver (English/Spanish)

Location: Union County, NJ
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday - Friday | Full-Time | Overtime Available

Job Summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable Bilingual CDL Class B Driver to join a growing company in Union County, NJ. This position is responsible for safely operating a CDL Class B vehicle, making local deliveries, loading and unloading materials, and providing excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, has a clean driving record, and is comfortable assisting with warehouse duties when deliveries are complete.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL Class B truck for local deliveries and pickups

• Load, secure, transport, and unload materials safely and efficiently

• Inspect vehicles before and after each shift and report maintenance concerns

• Verify orders before delivery to ensure accuracy

• Maintain delivery paperwork, bills of lading, and customer signatures

• Provide professional customer service during deliveries

• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers in both English and Spanish

• Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory, and general warehouse duties when not making deliveries

• Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety policies

• Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class B License

• Clean driving record

• Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience

• Fluent in both English and Spanish

• Ability to safely load and unload materials

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Reliable, punctual, and safety-oriented

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience or certification

• Warehouse, shipping, and receiving experience

• Experience operating box trucks or flatbed trucks

• DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain)

• Knowledge of the New Jersey, New York, and surrounding metropolitan areas

• Experience using GPS and electronic delivery systems

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis

• Frequently climb in and out of the truck throughout the day

• Load, unload, push, pull, and carry materials

• Stand, bend, and walk for extended periods

• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
