Work Environment

The work setting is onsite at our Rehabilitation Center, promoting a collaborative and supportive environment. You will work closely with a small team of experienced professionals, including two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans designed to meet each patient's specific orthopedic needs.
• Conduct thorough assessments, evaluate treatment outcomes, and continuously monitor patient progress.
• Manage a patient caseload with a focus on personalized attention, typically one patient per hour.
• Utilize various treatment modalities and manual therapy techniques to improve patients' range of motion, strength, and overall functional ability.
• Provide education and guidance on exercises and wellness programs to maintain and enhance mobility.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, including consultations and referrals when necessary.
• Document all patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes accurately using EMR systems, particularly WebPT.
• Encourage patients to adopt healthier lifestyles by focusing on strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients primarily consist of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work with patients of various ages and backgrounds, tailoring interventions to meet their unique challenges. As a physical therapist, your focus on evidence-based treatments will empower patients to achieve their health and mobility goals, thus enhancing their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A valid state license as a Physical Therapist, with no history of disciplinary actions.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Exceptional skills in manual therapy and the development and implementation of exercise protocols.
• Strong proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional education and practice improvement.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of successfully managing diverse patient cases with a variety of orthopedic conditions.
• Experience with developing fitness and wellness programs for diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
