Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered physical therapy services by assessing and managing the treatment process for assigned patients in collaboration with medical professionals and the care team.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, documenting findings meticulously, and participate in crafting individualized care plans aimed at achieving specific functional goals.
• Perform therapeutic exercises and interventions, utilizing evidence-based techniques to improve patients' conditions throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and the proper use of assistive devices to enhance recovery and promote self-management.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams by attending case reviews and providing updates on patient progress, thus ensuring cohesive care and timely interventions.
• Maintain appropriate documentation, following regulatory and professional standards while ensuring compliance with healthcare protocols.
• Manage and prioritize a caseload effectively, adjusting therapy schedules and coordinating with staff to optimize patient resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily focus on rehabilitating patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries or treatments for chronic pain and musculoskeletal disorders. You will serve a diverse population, including pediatric and adult patients, ensuring a tailored approach to meet their unique recovery needs. Each therapy session will be guided by personal goals, with a strong emphasis on enhancing functional independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is highly preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, or willingness to obtain within the first 30 days of employment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• While no previous experience is required, candidates with internship or clinical experience in rehabilitation settings are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits
