Regional Operations Manager I

Position Overview The Regional Operations Manager leads Shaw’s Phoenix distribution center, overseeing associate and customer experience, inventory, order processing, shipping, and customer service. Responsibilities Lead a team of approximately 15 hourly associates, including 5 Class A CDL local delivery drivers and 10 warehouse/office associates. Serve Shaw customers throughout Arizona, manage local inventory of flooring products. Process orders and handle 50+ daily Customer Pick Up transactions. Manage local 3PL and outbound LTL carrier relationships. Ensure a safe work environment and comply with DOT and OSHA requirements. Motivate associates to achieve facility goals and implement improvement processes. Ensure committed customer service levels and address concerns in a timely manner. Utilize transportation resources to provide delivery and pick up service to customers. Work closely with Sales and other business partners to meet customer demands. Maintain communication with the West US Supply Chain Director on facility performance. Travel to regional warehouses across the country as needed for meetings and training. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year logistics experience; or associate degree and 3+ years logistics experience; or High School Diploma/GED and 5-7 years logistics management/supervisory experience. Experience working with hourly associates and guiding teams toward operational success. Commitment to high standards and continuous improvement. Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Sales and Customer Service. Hands‑on experience managing operational processes and resolving challenges in a fast‑paced environment. Leadership experience with large, diverse organizations. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Well organized and detail oriented. Willingness and ability to travel to regional warehouses across the country. Preferred Knowledge of DOT compliance and transportation regulations.
