Associate Director/Director, Clinical Pharmacology
Beam Therapeutics
Beam Therapeutics seeks a clinical pharmacology leader to support its expanding portfolio of gene and base editing therapeutics. The role involves pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic analysis, quantitative systems pharmacology modeling, and operationalizing model-based drug development strategies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic analyses for gene/base editing programs
- Develop and apply PKPD and quantitative systems pharmacology models
- Operationalize model-based drug development approaches across clinical portfolio
- Perform exploratory data analysis and provide critical scientific interpretation
- Support clinical trial design and evaluation through pharmacometric insights
Requirements
- Strong expertise in pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and PKPD modeling
- Experience with quantitative systems pharmacology and pharmacometric analyses
- Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate and interpret complex scientific data
- Advanced degree in pharmacology, pharmaceutics, or related quantitative discipline
- Excellent written and oral communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Background in gene therapy or precision medicine preferred
