BMWC is an industrial construction company seeking a Data Entry Clerk to join our Quality Team. This important role supports the successful delivery of large-scale industrial construction projects by helping ensure quality records and project data are accurate, complete, and properly maintained.You will be part of a top-performing project team and report to an expert Quality Director in the industry. The primary responsibility of this position is to support the Quality and Fabrication Management Team by entering and maintaining quality records, verifying information for accuracy, generating reports using the data collected, and ensuring records are updated in the system each day.ResponsibilitiesAs a Quality Department Data Entry Clerk, you will:Enter and maintain quality and project data into internal databases and tracking systemsTransfer information from paper and electronic records into computer files and database systemsAccurately process large volumes of data while maintaining a high level of attention to detailReview, correct, and update existing records as neededGenerate reports and retrieve information from databases and electronic filesOrganize and maintain electronic files and hard-copy records to ensure information is properly stored and easily accessibleCommunicate regularly with the Quality Team, project managers, project engineers, craft supervision, and other project personnelIdentify and communicate missing information, discrepancies, or documentation concerns through the appropriate channelsLearn and use new technology while identifying opportunities to improve processes and best practicesPerform other work-related duties as assignedRequirements and QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalentMinimum of two years of experience in data entry, clerical work, administrative support, or a related roleConstruction, fabrication, or quality documentation experience is a plusStrong data entry and typing skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn internal systems and softwareClear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levelsAbility to work six days per week, approximately 10 hours per day, based on project needsBenefitsCompetitive pay with bonusPTO and paid holidays401(k) and profit sharing with company matchMedical, dental, and vision insuranceLife, AD&D and disability benefitsPet insuranceTuition reimbursementPaid volunteer time offAbout UsBMWC tackles the world's toughest and most daunting industrial construction challenges.
