Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in labor, preterm labor, and postpartum settings.
• Assist with circulating, OB-GYN procedures, post-op, pre-op, and scrubbing duties.
• Administer blood products, medications such as heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate safely.
• Utilize equipment such as epidural pumps, PCA pumps, and syringe pumps effectively.
• Attend all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries, and manage GYN surgeries.
• Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Active RN license, compact licensure honored for Swedish facilities.
• Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate certifications required; ACLS preferred.
• Previous experience with high-risk antepartum and couplet care strongly preferred.
• Must be comfortable floating to postpartum and NICU as needed based on skill set.
