Position Summary:
The Compliance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the company’s compliance with regulatory, contractual, and client requirements. This role supports licensing, insurance, reporting, and documentation functions while serving as a key point of contact between internal teams, clients, and external partners. The Compliance Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining accurate records, meeting deadlines, and ensuring smooth project setup and ongoing compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain professional licensing requirements for the company and ensure timely renewals.
• Coordinate with clients to provide all necessary licensing documentation.
• Prepare and submit monthly reporting for Owner- and Contractor-controlled insurance programs.
• Manage monthly reporting and documentation for the District of Columbia and other jurisdictional compliance programs.
• Complete quarterly verification reporting in accordance with regulatory and client requirements.
• Track, collect, and execute lien waivers.
• Prepare and transmit all project setup documentation to stakeholders.
• Prepare and transmit all project closeout documentation to stakeholders.
• Track, distribute, and maintain certificates of insurance.
• Liaise with outsourced IT partners to ensure company systems and data security.
• Manage in-office software credentials, ensuring access, updates, and overall functionality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Commissioned as or ability to be commissioned as DC Notary Public.
• 2+ years of experience in compliance, licensing, or administrative coordination (construction industry experience a plus).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative approach with internal and external partners.

Work Environment:

• Full-time, office-based with occasional remote coordination.
• Collaborative environment requiring adaptability and problem-solving.
