Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily living and functional skills while exploring a new location. Minimum Requirements Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Texas state OT license required to start the assignment. Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in an acute care hospital setting preferred. Experience with safe patient handling and mobilization techniques required. Experience supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants or students preferred. Strong documentation skills and experience completing evaluations and progress notes according to departmental policy required. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital. Shift: Day, 5x8. Duration: 13-week assignment. Positions available: 2. May be expected to participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, discharge planning, and patient/family education. Supervisory responsibilities include oversight of COTAs and student clinicians as applicable. Location Highlights Dallas, TX offers urban amenities with accessible outdoor and cultural destinations.
