• Duration: 13 weeks (with possibility of extension)
• Shift: Monday-Friday, 0700-1530, with rotating overnights (2 per week) and every 3rd weekend rotation
• Hours/Week: 40+ hours
• Employment Type: Travel/Contract assignment
• Licensure/Certifications: Valid Louisiana RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, Valid Driver's License (required for floating)
• Experience: Minimum 3 years RN experience, including at least 1.5 years in Cath Lab within the last year

What You'll Do:

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a busy Cath Lab environment, supporting complex cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures
• Circulate, scrub, and monitor hemodynamic status during procedures, including TAVR, MitraClip, coronary diagnostics, and interventions
• Administer vasoactive drugs and sedation, assess critical patient conditions
• Support advanced equipment such as Impella, Rotoblater, IABP, Laser, and atherectomy devices
• Operate imaging systems, including Philips and Merge monitors; support on ancillary equipment like IVUS, EKOS, FFR
• Adapt to floating between facilities, including Willis Knighton Pierremont, Bossier, and WKMC North

What You Need:

• Required: Louisiana RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, valid driver's license
• Experience: At least 3 years RN experience, with 1.5 years in Cath Lab setting; must be able to scrub, monitor, and circulate
• Key skills: Critical patient assessment, sterile technique, vasoactive drug administration, experience with advanced coronary and peripheral procedures
• Preferred: Experience with Impella, Rotoblater, IABP, Pnumbra, Laser, Lithotripsy atherectomy

About the Assignment:

This position involves supporting a high-volume Cath Lab performing complex interventional procedures such as TAVR, MitraClip, and peripheral interventions. You will float between multiple facilities in Shreveport, helping ensure continuous, quality care. Orientation includes a week at the Innovation Center and precepting as needed.
