Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Clinical Research Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will oversee the coordination of clinical trials focused on liver health, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, managing data collection, and supporting research staff. Your energetic approach will help drive our research projects forward, contributing to groundbreaking advancements in liver disease treatment.
Duties
- Coordinate all aspects of clinical trials, including participant recruitment, scheduling, and follow-up visits
- Ensure adherence to FDA regulations, ICH Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, and clinical ethical standards throughout the research process
- Review and verify documentation such as consent forms, case report forms, and regulatory submissions for accuracy and completeness
- Monitor patient progress by recording vital signs, blood sampling procedures, and tracking adverse events in accordance with study protocols
- Manage data entry and management using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and adhere to CDISC standards for data collection and reporting
- Conduct clinical laboratory procedures including blood sampling and phlebotomy with precision and safety
- Supervise research staff and volunteers, providing guidance on clinical research methods and compliance management
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in a clinical or research setting with strong project management skills
- Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, clinical development processes, and healthcare compliance standards including HIPAA regulations
- Proficiency in statistical software, Microsoft Office suite, EMR systems, and data management tools
- Certification in ICH GCP from a recognized issuer for California (CA) or equivalent certification such as an ICH GCP certificate from any valid issuer for CA
- Experience with clinical trials management, quality assurance standards, and research project coordination
- Strong analysis skills for interpreting clinical data and ensuring research integrity
- Familiarity with clinical ethical guidelines, blood sampling techniques, vital signs measurement, and compliance management practices
