Overview
Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery in Kealakekua, Hawaii, US. This travel assignment begins on 08/09/2026 for an anticipated duration of 13 weeks. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for laboring patients and their newborns in the labor & delivery and nursery units, including couplet care.
- Monitor labor progress and fetal status using intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring; respond to variances in maternal/fetal conditions.
- Support postpartum and neonatal care, including newborn assessments and transition to nursery as needed; administer medications and document care.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and the broader care team; ensure accurate charting and compliance with policies.
- Charge nurse duties may be assigned with compensation of $2.00 per hour; may float to assist other departments but not as the primary nurse.

Requirements
- Active Hawaii RN license required
- Labor & Delivery and Nursery couplet care experience; ability to care for both mother and newborn
- Intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring experience
- Ability to float to assist other departments as needed while maintaining primary assignment in L&D
- Schedule expectation includes 72-80 hours every two weeks (as described for this assignment)
