Italian Localization Specialist

Responsibilities

1. Localization Translation and Quality Control: based on project deadlines, ensure high-quality and timely completion of Chinese-to-Italian translation and localization of all game-related content, including game content, marketing materials, player support, and social media content; complete the translation, proofreading, final review, and routine language quality checks of various localized content; and coordinate with the creative and design teams to ensure accurate localization and adherence to project needs.

2. Product Localization Optimization and Cultural Consulting: become deeply familiar with and experienced in multiple company's game products; leverage an Italian cultural perspective and understand regional user habits to provide professional localization optimization ideas, improvement plans, and creative suggestions across all dimensions, including game copywriting and visual presentation; provide the development team with precise Italian regional cultural consultation, localization adaptation strategies, and implementation references, continuously iterating and optimizing the overall localized experience of the product.

3. Establishment and Maintenance of Localization Content Standards: participate in the establishment, iteration, and improvement of the game localization terminology database and content style guidelines, unifying the Italian content output standards across all projects, effectively ensuring the professionalism and consistency of all types of localized content.

4. Player Channel Operations and User Experience Optimization: assist the daily operation and maintenance of official game forums, user emails, and other channels, including communication and problem-solving; assist in player service-related work, collect and organize player feedback and optimization suggestions to continuously improve user satisfaction and activity, and maintain a healthy player community ecosystem.

5. Cross-team Collaboration and Comprehensive Task Support: in accordance with team project planning and work arrangements, and based on project needs and individual job strengths, efficiently complete various collaborative tasks and ad-hoc tasks, providing comprehensive support for the orderly and efficient progress of the team's localization projects.

Qualifications

1. Professional level of Mandarin Chinese (Advanced, HSK5, C1, TOCFL4);
2. Passionate about the video game industry, possessing relevant professional knowledge, and familiarity with various gaming terminology;
3. An attentive and skilled writer, detail-oriented and critical thinker;
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at cross-team collaboration;
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office and various AI-assisted tools;
6. Solid translation skills or relevant industry experience, with priority given to candidates with experience in game localization.

Work Visa: Provided
Salary: 13k-20k RMB (depending on experience)
Working hours: Monday to Friday 10am-7pm (including one-hour break)
