DENTAL TREATMENT COORDINATOR

Are you an experienced Dental Treatment Coordinator who knows how to connect with patients, build trust, confidently present treatment, and help patients move forward with the care they need?

East Valley Periodontics is looking for a confident, compassionate, and highly organized Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team.

This is more than reviewing treatment plans and scheduling appointments. You will play an important role in the patient experiencehelping patients understand their diagnosis, feel confident in their treatment recommendations, navigate financial and insurance questions, and successfully move from consultation to treatment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As our Treatment Coordinator, you will help guide patients from consultation through treatment by:

• Presenting treatment plans with confidence, clarity, and compassion
• Explaining procedures, treatment timelines, fees, insurance benefits, and financial responsibilities
• Helping patients understand the value and importance of recommended treatment
• Coordinating treatment appointments based on patient needs and provider availability
• Obtaining pre-authorizations and reviewing insurance benefit information
• Discussing payment options and establishing financial arrangements
• Following up with patients who have pending treatment and helping remove barriers to moving forward
• Keeping the doctors schedules full and efficient
• Maintaining accurate documentation of treatment plans and patient communication
• Serving as a trusted liaison between our doctors and patients
• Assisting with front-office responsibilities when needed
• Protecting patient privacy and maintaining HIPAA compliance

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

This position is best suited for someone who is comfortable having meaningful conversations with patientsincluding conversations about treatment costs and financial commitments.

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of Dental experience
• Ability to pass a background check

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

$25$28 per hour, based on experience, skills, performance, and qualifications.
