Your Specific Responsibilities This is a highly responsible professional position in coordinating statewide field services within the Patient Care unit of the HIV/AIDS Section, AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP). This position provides guidance, monitoring, and evaluation to the ADAP regional coordinators statewide and the help desk staff located in Tallahassee. The position is under the supervision of the ADAP operations and compliance manager and requires independent work without close supervision. The incumbent works closely with other offices within the HIV/AIDS Section and county health departments to ensure coordinated operations, planning, and program goals. Responsibilities include: Work closely with ADAP regional coordinators to provide program oversight and direction, including technical development, implementation, and management of day‑to‑day ADAP field operations. Assist with recruitment, orientation, and training of regional coordinators and conduct site visits to county health departments as needed. Review field operation activities, identify needs, and make recommendations for quality improvement. Provide program oversight and direction to Tallahassee ADAP help desk, develop, implement, and manage day‑to‑day operations. Recruit and orient help desk staff in coordination with the ADAP operations and compliance manager. Assist with recruiting and orienting help desk staff, provide technical assistance and training recommendations, and implement corrective actions. Participate in developing tools, coordinating data, and providing technical assistance or training regarding coordination of services for the ADAP program. Deliver follow‑up reports from quality improvement visits, make recommendations, and track and conduct follow‑ups. Participate in ADAP’s quality management and improvement initiatives. Assist in developing manuals, guidelines, and procedures related to ADAP Program. Participate in workgroups on business needs and technical assistance guidelines. Educate policies and procedures on the role of ADAP and how it improves statewide quality of care. Prepare ADAP presentations for statewide meetings and monitor client feedback to enhance the program.
