Capers & Lemons Italian is Platinum Dining Group's interpretation of the contemporary Italian restaurant. A lively bar and lounge anchor a dining room that marries a contemporary aesthetic with modern comfort and sits against a rich framework of warm color, soft accents of light and the faint echo of wine meeting glass. Blending worlds old & new, the menu offers a wide-ranging collection of Italian inspired dishes- With delicate, handcrafted pastas and crackling pizza, timeless offerings are respectfully reinvented with a current touch and a skillful hand. An inventive collection of wine and imaginative drinks paired with soul warming food have made C&L one of the most popular restaurants in the area.
We currently have full-time and part-time opportunities for experienced bartenders. We pride ourselves on providing top-notch food hospitality and are looking for the best of the best to be a part of our team. Experience in upscale, high-volume, full-service hospitality along with a creative mind for cocktail recipe creations is a plus! Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment as well as the ability to lead others is a must. Must be available to work weekends and evenings. If you are a motivated, energetic, hard-working self-starter than we want to meet with you!

Major Duties:
- Strong communication and listening skills to interact with both guests and teammates
- Professional knowledge base of classic and creative cocktails, beer, and wine
- Interpret guest's desires and provide recommendations
- Ensuring accurate accountability of food & beverage sales to each guest
- Ensuring that bar area is properly inventoried and stock for the following shift
- Base knowledge and understanding of the culinary menu
- Keeps an efficient work pace that allows guests at the bar and in the dining room to be satisfied at all times
- Have a general knowledge and understanding of Delaware Department of Health for food safety standards
- Enjoys providing great hospitality
Qualifications:
- Excellent Emotional Self Awareness under pressure while maintaining a respectful, warm presence
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- 2+ years' experience working as a bartender
- Ability to work nights, weekend, and holidays
- Ability to multitask and take direction in high volume situations
- Must possess Delaware Alcohol Server Training Card
- Knowledge of a second language is a plus
