Responsibilities

• Lead and support multi-jurisdictional sales tax audit defense, audit management, and refund engagements.

• Research complex state and local tax issues and provide practical, well-reasoned client guidance.

• Prepare filings, petitions, refund claims, and responses to taxing authorities.

• Analyze data, perform reconciliations, and support consulting conclusions with detailed calculations.

• Serve as a trusted point of contact for client questions and ongoing support.

• Travel to client locations as needed.

• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality client service and consulting solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

• 5+ years of relevant multi-state sales and use tax experience preferred.

• Background in sales tax consulting, auditing, or audit defense.

• Strong knowledge of multi-state sales and use tax principles and research methodologies.

• Excellent written communication skills.

• Strong analytical abilities and professional judgment.

• Client-service-oriented mindset.

• Valid driver's license required.

• English proficiency required.
