Physical TherapistThe Carolina Center for Behavioral Health is currently hiring a physical therapist to join our team of dedicated professionals. The Carolina Center is a 156-bed private behavioral health system located in Greenville, South Carolina. Specializing in psychiatric programs and substance abuse treatments, the center serves Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, and areas throughout South Carolina and western North Carolina. Programs are available at various levels of care to accommodate the severity of every patient's condition: inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient treatment.The opportunity to make a difference drives you. It's these experiences that solidify your dedication to helping others.To provide individual patient consultation and assessment as ordered by physician for referrals such as nursing home and assisted living facilities. Administer therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques to improve mobility and relieve pain. Collaborate and work with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for patients. Maintain accurate records of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes for billing and documentation requirements. Assist with consultation and evaluation as needed for discharge planning and referrals to SNF, ALF or other levels of care.Benefit highlights include a challenging and rewarding work environment, career development opportunities, and competitive compensation.Qualifications requirements include a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree, zero to one year of experience, and three to five years of related experience preferred. Experience with psychiatric patient care techniques with understanding of mental illness is preferred. Additional requirements include successful completion of Management Aggressive Behavior Training and certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association for CPR.Work hours are day shift Monday-Friday, with the possibility of overtime and flexible hours.
