We provide ABA services in center, home, and school settings.We believe strongly that our mission is one that not only centers on the individual with autism, but the whole family. It's pretty simple! However, our mission is our passion, and we carry that out each day.As BCBA with us, you will hold a caseload of 7-8 clients. Other professional opportunities such as collaborating with other disciplines, serving schools, and assisting in support group therapy are fulfilling and help to build experience. Our center is located in the historical district of New Augusta.We provide a meaningful and impactful opportunity to participate in a home-like atmosphere, classroom-like environments, as well as the community setting, as needed. We are a small center and do not plan to grow into other business location sites.We pride ourselves with a low to no drama policy and low therapist turnover.Health Insurance, paid holidays, 401K, continuing education reimbursement, and other benefits are available.Knowledge and Behaviors NeededThis position requires the candidate to have a minimum of a master's degree in applied behavior analysis and hold an active status as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).The employee must have:Good organization and time management skills.The ability to help grow an offsite location.The ability to follow through on given directions in a timely manner.Leadership attributes and patience.The ability to interact well with children.The ability to work cooperatively as a therapy team member.The ability to work well independently.Solid written and verbal communication skills.In clinic, home or school experiencePrincipal Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, the following:Provide supervision of behavior technicians working with clients.Identify, define, and deliver training activities as needed that provide instruction on Applied Behavior Analysis, discrete trial teaching techniques, management of challenging behaviors, child development and data collection techniques applicable to the client population.Conduct RBT competency initials and renewals.Input, analyze and modify client's programming on the electronic database Catalyst.Lead the training and competency checklists for new and existing behavior technicians to ensure quality, high standard work within the ACS organization.Conduct parent training at least monthly with each client's family.Communicate and collaboration professionally and concisely with our leadership team and therapists.Prepare and facilitate team meetings.Introduce and train new client programs for assigned clients.Develop behavior intervention plans based on the functional behavior assessment for each client.Monitor and revise behavior intervention plans as needed.Assist with daily changes and updates to schedule as children and/or staff are out due to illness, vacation, etc.Critical RelationshipsIn order to build and maintain relationships, candidate must have the ability to:Work effectively/positively with parents to improve the quality of life of their children.Have a positive relationship with families, children, staff and others from diverse backgrounds.Give and receive feedback from peers and supervisory staff.Be self started, cultivating relationships with colleagues in an offsite location.
