Power BI Developer- Uganda

As discussed, Trigyn has a contractual opportunity for a **Senior Application Developer (Data Analytics, Machine Learning, AI)**. This position is based **Entebbe, Uganda****.**

Job Description:

· Knowledge of all activities related to the development of MS-Flow or PowerApps;

· Communicate and coordinate with teams gather detail on the business and system requirements;

· Provide support in the analysis of the requirements, fit-gap analysis, and the design of the solution;

· Define and document solutions to any presented problems;

· Preform, test, and demonstrate solutions;

· Provide support for the integration and performance testing of systems, training of users, the deployment and migration of the configured solution across the various environments.

Microsoft Power BI Developer Tasks:

· Work with business users to gather requirements and transform them into reports and dashboards;

· Design, build, maintain & deploy complex reports in Power BI;

· Integrate Power BI into other applications and platforms;

· Apply knowledge in Data Visualization including effective communication, appropriate chart types, and best practices;

· Define best practices and optimize Power BI for performance;

· Reverse engineer and revise Power BI artefacts created by other developers;

· Performing basic administration tasks in Power BI for a production environment;

· Provides resolutions to the problems within the production applications within Service Level Agreements;

· Provide regular reports on the analysis and feedback of the system users and management;

· Develop and provides documentation, training, and support for clients.

· Participate in client meetings to understand project definitions and offer design reviews.

· Evaluate the needs and requirement of the users and provides technical expertise in the development of technical, structural and organizational specifications.

Determines appropriateness of data for storage and optimum storage organization.

· Create, documents and implements standards as well as complex modelling and enhance the capacity and performance of the Power BI environments.

· Train end users, live and via web meeting;

**Required Skills:**

**· A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in Business Intelligence Design and Build;**

**· A minimum of 2 years of hands on experience with Power BI;**

**· A minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in software development, coding, testing, and design;**

**· Proficient in MS-Flow or PowerApps;**

**· Proficiency in database;**

**· Understanding of basic networking concepts;**
