Ultrasound Technologist
Location: Florida
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
Job Description: The Ultrasound Technologist will perform high-quality ultrasound imaging in the following specialties: general, OB/GYN, vascular, and pediatric. The applicant must have active RDMS and RVT certifications and demonstrate proficiency in using GE ultrasound machines.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct ultrasound examinations and produce diagnostic images.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
- Document and manage patient records accurately using Cerner or Epic charting systems.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ultrasound imaging.
- Active RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) certification.
- Active RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) certification.
- Florida or compact license in hand.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience with Cerner or Epic charting systems is essential.
