Precision Heating & Air Conditioning is a 45-year-old commercial and industrial HVAC company based in Skokie, IL, specializing in nursing homes and healthcare facilities across Chicagoland. We run major commercial projects, including 125-ton chiller replacements, and we pay no sales commissions because we have never needed to sell anything but expert work. We are hiring HVAC Install Leads who can run jobs, mentor mid-level techs, and take the lead on complex service calls.  HVAC Install Leads living further out can qualify for a take-home truck and home dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle complex troubleshooting and difficult service calls independently
• Lead installations and major repairs, including chiller and commercial boiler projects
• Serve as a technical resource for other technicians and support them in the field
• Assist with job planning and material requirements
• Mentor less experienced technicians and uphold quality standards
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal team, including occupied healthcare settings
• Respond to major after-hours emergencies when senior leadership is needed on site

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• 7+ years of HVAC experience, majority commercial/industrial
• Able to run most calls start to finish without support
• Chiller experience strongly preferred; boiler and rooftop expertise expected
• Experience leading installs or supervising other techs
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Must pass a pre-employment background and reference check
