About the Position

Job Opportunity – Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Patient ratio 1:1. Two call shifts required during contract. One weekend shift per contract. Limited pre-approved time off available.

Highlights:

• Work in a state-of-the-art 8-procedure room interventional radiology unit with a daily census of approximately 30 patients
• Circulate or provide sedation for a diverse case mix including vascular access, IVC filter placement/removal, embolization, TIPS, UFE, fistula gram, PCN, PTC, drains, venous reconstruction, lines, ports, biopsies, and ParaThoro procedures
• Collaborate with a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team of physicians, technologists, nurses, and advanced practice providers
• Primarily staffed in procedure rooms in the intra-procedure role; may intermittently work in pre/post area for prepping and recovering patients
• Work exclusively with adult and geriatric patient populations in an interventional diagnoses and treatment setting
• Travel assignment with local candidates accepted at the same rate

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Skills required: Circulate Procedures, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, Interventional Radiology, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Scrub Procedures, and Triage
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager/director or formal leadership position
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process urgently upon contract signing; strict compliance deadline applies
• Former employees eligible after 6 months away from facility; current employees ineligible
