Job Title: Interventional Radiology Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2 years of charge experience preferred. License: Valid compact or state nursing license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required. Must-Have: - Experience in circulating procedures. - Strong skills in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. - Knowledge of interventional radiology techniques. - Familiarity with pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring. Description: We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Nurse to join our team. The nurse will primarily staff procedure rooms in an intra-procedure role. Responsibilities include circulating, sedating, and intermittently working in pre/post areas for patient preparation and recovery. The unit focuses on interventional diagnoses and treatment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, technologists, and advance practice providers. Procedures performed include vascular access, IVC filter placement/removal, embolization, TIPS, UFE, fistula gram, PCN, PTC, drains, and venous reconstruction. The unit operates with normal business hours and performs interventional procedures only. Ideal candidates should have experience in a similar setting and be equipped to manage patient care during complex procedures.
