The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Hospital Authority
The CT Technologist performs CT and diagnostic imaging exams, ensuring accurate orders, proper patient identification, and clear procedure explanations. This role prepares and administers IV contrast per protocol, evaluates image quality, and recognizes abnormal findings for radiologist review. The technologist provides basic patient care, follows radiation safety and infection-control standards, assists with invasive and emergency procedures, documents in EMR/RIS systems, and supports efficient, safe operation of the CT department across varied shifts.
