Bilingual (Spanish) -Human Resources Generalist

Seeking a Bilingual (Spanish) Human Resources Generalist with 3-5 years of experience preferably in a manufacturing or distribution center environment. Position Objective The Human Resources Generalist provides assistance to the Human Resources Manager in carrying out various tasks that support the day-to-day operations of the HR department. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Provide HR advisory services covering HR laws to employees, supervisors, and managers. Review HR laws and compare them to existing policies and procedures, create HR document templates, and collaborate with other department members. Partner with supervisors and managers on employee issues and corrective actions. Recruit, interview, and onboard new hires. Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and exit interviews, including data entry in human resources information systems (HRIS) and audits for accuracy and compliance. Conduct pre-employment and post-accident drug tests. Complete wage and employment verifications for requesting agencies. Assist with benefits administration and education for employees. Prepare reports and human resources information as requested. Organize and promote company engagement activities and functions. Assist employees with questions or concerns. Update company communication avenues. Other duties as assigned. Education, Training & Experience Associates or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred. 3-5 years of human resources experience preferred. Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Knowledge gained through on-the-job training of company products, policies, and procedures. Attention to detail. Multitasking and time management. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS systems. Ability to work cooperatively and effectively in a team environment with peers and personnel in other departments. Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information while employed with Truvant. Adhere to all regulatory and company policies, procedures, work instructions, including Truvant policies, customer specific policies, ISO, GMPs, USDA, regulatory food safety and food defense. Physical And Environmental Requirements Must be able to read documents, printouts, computer screens and other communication. Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with co-workers. Must be able to reach, touch, grasp. Must be able to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to climb, stoop/kneel, lift, pull and push. Must conduct yourself safely to avoid accidents while on the production floor. Must work in various environments based on building location and products. Level of Physical Requirements: Sedentary to medium work level; lifting and positioning weight loads up to 35 pounds.
