Indirect Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Reference: PR/611947_1790607721An innovative and fast-growing organization is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist, Indirect Services to support global procurement initiatives across a variety of indirect spend categories. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with procurement leadership, business stakeholders, and supplier partners while developing expertise in category management and strategic sourcing.This position is ideal for a procurement professional who enjoys analytical problem solving, supplier engagement, sourcing strategy execution, and cross-functional collaboration.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end sourcing events, including RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes.Conduct spend analysis, supplier market research, benchmarking, and cost modeling.Support category strategy development through market intelligence and supplier insights.Manage supplier evaluations, bid analysis, negotiations, and award recommendations.Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide sourcing guidance.Coordinate contract workflows with Legal, Risk, Security, and other internal teams.Maintain supplier, contract, and procurement records while tracking renewals and key milestones.Ensure compliance with procurement policies and contribute to continuous process improvements.Qualifications3-6 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or a related commercial function.Experience with indirect categories inlcuding professional services, corporate services, or HR servicesExperience managing competitive sourcing events and supplier negotiations.Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, including spend analysis and cost modeling.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Familiarity with commercial contracts and cross-functional collaboration with legal teams.Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Preferred ExperienceIndirect services sourcing experience, including categories such as professional services, consulting, HR services, or facilities.Exposure to procurement and contract management platforms such as Coupa, SAP Ariba, Oracle, Omnea, or similar tools.Experience working within global or matrixed organizations.Professional certifications such as CPSM, MCIPS, or progress toward certification.Why Consider This Role?Opportunity to work on high-impact sourcing initiatives with global visibility.Exposure to senior stakeholders and procurement leadership.Strong career development path toward category management responsibilities.Collaborative environment focused on strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and continuous improvement.
