Service Technician – Lawn Equipment & Small Engines

Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Commercial Lawn Equipment, Inc. is hiring a full-time Service Technician to join our Nashville shop. You’ll diagnose and repair Exmark and Scag lawn mowers, Ventrac tractors, and RedMax handheld equipment, working with engines from Kawasaki, Kohler, Briggs & Stratton, Honda, and Kubota.

Already have repair experience? Bring your skills to our team. Just getting started? If you have basic mechanical knowledge, your own tools, and a willingness to learn, we can train you.

Pay & Benefits

• Starting at $20 per hour , with higher starting pay based on experience or certifications.
• Additional commission on hours billed.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair customer equipment brought into our shop for service.
• Service Exmark and Scag lawn mowers, Ventrac tractors, and RedMax handheld equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair Kawasaki, Kohler, Briggs & Stratton, Honda, and Kubota engines.
• Use a computer to document work, update service tickets, and look up parts.
• Build your knowledge through hands-on work and available manufacturer training.

What You’ll Bring

• Basic mechanical knowledge and an interest in equipment and engine repair.
• Your own tools.
• The ability to use a computer for service tickets and parts lookup.
• A willingness to learn and take pride in quality repairs.

Previous professional experience is not required—we have the ability to train the right candidate. Relevant repair experience and certifications may qualify you for higher starting pay.
